Touch Rugby

Today we learned some basic skills for touch rugby.

First we learned how to tap the ball,catching ,and pass the ball.

afterwards we played passing drills to get better at committing to the ball and catching.

I enjoyed learning more how to play touch rugby and learning new skills about it and it was fun.

This week we learned about assessing risk.

We had to assess risk from then. There are five risk definitions. They are low, likely, possible, elevated and extreme.

The first task was that we had to pick a number out to 1 to 5. There were fifteen

questions and my group and I did a discussion of what number we should pick to see if it

was correct, almost or incorrect my group and I did a vote. 

After voting each question we got two correct answers, two incorrect answers, and the

rest was almost. Then we corrected our answer and did the next task. The next task was

we had to write our own situation from 1 to 5. After that we mixed up the answer and deleted those numbers.

This task was hard but we worked together and finished the task. 

Division

 LI: to share objects evenly.

Division is dividing objects among groups. Examples: I shared 30 counters to 6 people and each person had 4 counters.                          

30 ÷ 6 = 5

Maths

Today I did 2-5-10- time table I had put it in order so you can see the insults if it is correct answers so it is good. 

 For a example 10x2=20,10x5=50,10x10=100, that all of the correct answers in the time tables.

 I did all the order  2-5-10- time table I did the quiz I checked it 5 times all of them now I'm finished and completed the -2 - 5 -10,time table.

In the story of Gruffalo the mouse have stand up to the Gruffalo.

Text to World refers to linking the themes or author's purpose to things happening in the world.

The mouse is cocky, My connection is that some people are cocky.

Timetables

Multiplication is an easy way of counting a lot of the same number. 

Multiplication is like grouping numbers and skip counting.

These slides show the 4  timetables that we completed.

Swimming

Today I practised my water safety skills at the Lagoon pool.

The first skill I practised was pushing off the platform. I did this by pushing my legs, putting my face in the water and kicking.

Then I practised rotation kicking. To do a rotation kick I needed to kick on my front and then rolll my body over.
