Touch Rugby

Today we learned some basic skills for touch rugby.

First we learned how to tap the ball,catching ,and pass the ball.

afterwards we played passing drills to get better at committing to the ball and catching.

I enjoyed learning more how to play touch rugby and learning new skills about it and it was fun. 

Swimming

Today I practised my water safety skills at the Lagoon pool.

The first skill I practised was pushing off the platform. I did this by pushing my legs, putting my face in the water and kicking.

Then I practised rotation kicking. To do a rotation kick I needed to kick on my front and then rolll my body over.

LI.to develop knowledge of water safety.

                                                               

Swimming

Today we went to swimming  and the first lesson is how we get in the pool and we had to stay on the
platform.

First we listened and we listen how to do back strokes then I swim under the water.

Secondly we had to throw the toy in the water and we use are legs to swim or if we don't we will drown.

Then I listened that your legs is heavy and you have to swim .

 My favorite part was when we do stroke and I well in enjoy the next swimming  listen.

Ripper Rugby

LI: to learn our first lesson of playing rugby.

This week for kiwi sport we were learning how to play rippa rugby. Our rugby coach was Sam and Dannie.First we got into a warm up. First we learnt how to pass a ball and how to catch. Then we played rats and rabbits. Then the last game we started to play was rugby tag. My team scored 5 trys And the other teams scored 3 trys. Then we started packing away the sports gear.
