we did a bus stop activity and had to figure out some words that go with titles. then we created a

mind map about S.T.E.M. on our lucid chart.

zoo Recount

 Zoo Recount 

Today it was the big day because we were going to the zoo. My teacher was Miss
Sheeran. I was excited because this was only the second time I have been to the
zoo.

We looked at the lions, there were two lions on the hill. We saw lions don’t like
water because they do not like to get wet. Then we saw the zebra and it had
black
and white stripes. After that we saw the Giraffes, they have a long neck and I
could see them eating hay. Then we saw a rhino it had a big horn and it was
really big.

We met up with Hohepa, he was taking us around the Africa section. showed
us the baboons. Then the cheetah, they can run fast. Then Hohepa
us a skin
that someone had cut. Then we saw two elephants. put bark on there back
then this man came and opened his mouth does Don't on there back then we
and they made paper out of 

Poop and we trash the paper then Hohepa show us a long time ago
elephants
have tusks but they have to kill some elephants With tusks and we toush the
touch then we push it Around to touch the elephants tusks.       

Then we went to see a penguin and they’re cute. Then we went to the eels,
but do
not put your hand in the water or it might eat your hand.

I saw a tortoise and it was big and there was a little tortoise and it was walking. 

Lunch then we had a little play and it was fun we play and play and we.
Had fun then went down the slide.

And we went on the little slide then we had a good time and it was fun at the
zoo but
it was time to go back to school and we said goodbye. And 

goodbye and it was very happy then all said goodbye goodbye goodbye and I
was
very happy to go to the zoo and I was very happy to go to the. zoo then
we will see
them next time when I am older to come back to the zoo but when I was walking
around I got tired of walking around the country when I went to the bus I was tired. 

Space Art

This is my space art. We decorated the art by sketching craters on the white paper. Then we dyed the planets hot and cold colours. The we put white paint on the black paper. Finally we glued it all together. I think it looks great.

Matariki Celebration

For Matariki we had sausages for lunch. Then we watched a movie about Matariki and the 7 stars. Next we saw the junior kapa haka. Then we saw the Pacifica group. Next the ukulele group played shotgun and finally we watched the senior kapa haka.
